BICYCLE DECORATING PARTY

Bike decorating party:
WHEN: SUNDAY afternoon, 1:00 to 3:00
WHERE: In the courtyard between the Student Services building and Illini Hall
(not the Illini Union) on the UI Campus. (map)

I have a very workable solution for decorating bikes and mounting signs.
Some people like the idea of creating a fun, almost circus like, atmosphere with the bikes. With some creativity cardboard cut outs will allow for that.

Click the links below to see what I will do on my bikes.
Note: The photos only demonstrate the concept of how a sign can be carried.
I will print a ChampaignCountyBikes.org banner to add to the sides of the board in "poster01" along with other decoration. You may put any sign on your bike that you would like. (Please remember that positive messages do more good than negative messages).

Cardboard may also be added to the center triangle and possibly the front for the bike.
Maybe even an animal shape can be created.

I will bring lots of cardboard, clear package tape, string, a glue gun, tools, and other odds and ends.
You will need your bike, a sign of some kind - if you want to carry one, a box cutter or knife to cut cardboard boxes, red white and blue crepe paper, American flags, other items to add color. I hope to see you there.

Rick
